Director Yuki Otsuka
Many of you may remember him from JDFF 2024 “Downtown Utopia“, which won the Best Feature Film Award in our Competition Section. Director Otsuka is known for his unique ability to delve deep into human psychology, creating stories that are both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant. We are thrilled to have him in Kolding to present his powerful psychological thriller, Edge of Sin, and to share his visionary insights with us.
Miyu Yoshimoto
In Edge of Sin, Miyu delivers a truly breathtaking and chilling performance as Saki, a beautiful yet terrifyingly manipulative high school girl. Her portrayal perfectly captures the film’s tense atmosphere, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats until the very end.
Starting her career with a major national award in Japan, Miyu has since starred in numerous films and TV dramas, establishing herself as one of the most exciting young actresses of her generation.
